A New Yorker cartoon with a Hamptons alibi.

A love letter to New York’s great cartoon tradition, reimagined through Tennis Brat’s country club subversive lens.  Lady Liberty steps onto the hard court with a broken racket, a knowing pose, and absolutely no interest in behaving like a monument. The scene has all the makings of a small scandal: stadium spectators, questionable decorum, and just enough polish to make the mischief look intentional.

Some might call it bad form. In the Hamptons, they call it chic rebellion
